Top Orlando Tourist areas

Just as important as what to do on vacation is where to stay. The ideal hotel is in a nicer area of town, close to shops and your chosen attractions, and easy to get to.

There are five popular areas in Orlando. They are full of shops, restaurants, things to do, and places to stay. These areas are the Disney's Lake Buena Vista area; the Maingate area; the SeaWorld and International Drive area, and the Universal Studios area. There are plenty of hotels that we work with within those areas– popular hotels with extremely good service and great locations.

Sea World and International Drive Area

The Sea World area contains the Sea World, Discovery Cove, and Aquatica parks, as well as the Orlando Convention and Business Center. Further north is the International Drive area; there are many restaurants, shopping and night entertainment, and is conveniently located between SeaWorld and Universal Studios.

Hint: If you want to do something not related to the parks at night, this is the area you want to be; there are plenty of restaurants, clubs, shops, movie theaters (look for the Pointe Orlando Shopping mall), etc.
This area is so alive at night that during weekends and high season you can get pretty much stuck in traffic jams.
