Top Orlando Tourist areas

Just as important as what to do on vacation is where to stay. The ideal hotel is in a nicer area of town, close to shops and your chosen attractions, and easy to get to.

There are four popular areas in Orlando. They are full of shops, restaurants, things to do, and places to stay. These areas are the Disney's Lake Buena Vista area; the Maingate area; the SeaWorld and International Drive area, and the Universal Studios area. There are plenty of hotels that we work with within those areas– popular hotels with extremely good service and great locations.

Disney Lake Buena Vista

Located in the north-eastern part of Disney, the Lake Buena Vista area is very close to Downtown Disney shops, entertainment and area restaurants. Premium Outlet Mall is also in this area, as well as many hotels. Lake Buena Vista is owned by the Walt Disney Company.

Hint: If you plan to also go to any of Universal Studios theme parks, this area is somewhat close by using the Palm Parkway; this road connects with turkey lake road, which passes right behind Universal Studios "back gate", about 15 minute drive; it's a shortcut that really pays off, since it will take you double time (not counting traffic jams) to get there using highways.
